Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for PWMA membership, a company must meet the following requirements:

  1. actively engaged in the manufacture of pressure washers;
  2. actively engaged in your own name and with your own organization (i.e., as distinct from agents and/or distributors) in the sale of such pressure washers in the open market within the United States; and
  3. a participant in the PWMA certification program.

Membership Benefits

  • Company Credibility. When you can use the PWMA logo and the certification seal on all your literature, equipment and website, you send the message to your customers and to consumers that your products have been tested in accordance with the industry performance standard and are certified increasing your company’s credibility.  
  • Have a Voice. If you are concerned about an issue facing the industry, you have little voice until you formally become a member of the industry association. Collectively, we can make a difference.
  • Strength in Numbers. One company will have limited influence on the media, industry players and regulatory agencies. But when many companies speak with one voice, we command attention of the appropriate parties.
  • Save on Costs. Working as an industry, PWMA members can save thousands of dollars on research, testing, and marketing costs by pooling resources and sharing the costs of a single project that benefits many. Teamwork pays.
